About the event
Fast fashion has become a major problem in our world. While it makes fashion accessible, it single handedly contributes to environmental harm, labor exploitation, and overconsumption, creating sustainability and ethical concerns.
To help combat this major issue, join Transition Fidalgo for a Thrift to Thrive event on May 31st from 11am-3pm!
This event is FREE & OPEN TO ALL!
Donations of clean clothing are welcome! Drop off your lightly-used clothing at the Anacortes Library on Friday May 30th from 12pm - 5pm, or on Saturday morning.
We do not accept: underwear, dirty or soiled garments, or any tools, toys, household objects, etc.
Revamp your whole wardrobe at this free event! Give some clothes for donation and take home some donated by others! Bring yourself and a friend and spend the day freely shopping without the guilt of harming the environment.
