About the event
In this free class, you will learn why seed saving is valuable for home gardeners, how to plan your garden for seed saving, the basics of plant breeding, how to select plants for seed saving, and collecting, processing and storing your seed.
Please bring a notepad and writing instrument.
Presenter: Celt Schira is a freelance plant breeder and seed saver. She has been gardening in our tricky maritime climate for 25 years. Celt is an original member of the Salish Seed Guild. In her day job, she owns an electrical engineering firm.
