Activities to inspire and enjoy

We’ve got the fest in FutureFest!

It’s early days yet, but here’s a look at what’s in planning.
(Want to help? Just click here to volunteer!)

  • Live music throughout the weekend, including the songwriting contest coordinated by the Anacortes Music Project
  • Art show coordinated by the Museum of Northwest Art
  • The Grove of Life (see one that was done in the Twin Cities here)
  • The Qube, a video experience by John Bowey
  • The Tempestry Project, a fiber arts creation with amazing impact (see more here)
  • The Walk of Why Not (well, you’ll just have to come see what it is, won’t you?)
  • Book Swap
  • A Luminary Walk coordinated by master luminary artist Loalynda Bird, and open to all
  • A free surprise pop-up Happy Cafe offered by the Anacortes Center for Happiness
  • A graffiti wall for everyone to express the world they want
  • Special guests, like Mayor Laurie Gere
  • Information tables
  • Surprises you’ve just got to be there to experience
  • Whatever else we (or you) can dream up
